Dev Worah, Director Technology, Speaks at AJAXWorld on Agile Platforms
Dev Worah, Director Technology, presented "Building Agile Business Applications Using Enterprise Web 2.0 and Service Platforms," at the AJAXWorld RIA Conference and Expo 2008 West, in San Jose, California, on October 22nd. This was Dev's second stint as an AJAXWorld speaker. In this version, Dev highlighted the growing trend in delivering Web 2.0 applications in large enterprises to address the imperative for business agility. While Web 2.0 continue to represent a wide collection of disparate technologies, Dev noted that several key components have entered the enterprise IT mainstream: Rich Internet Applications (RIAs), customer self-service, multi-channel enablement, customer/partner integration, and RIA-based portals and business intelligence dashboards. These technologies are often used today to leverage and extend the useful life of legacy applications. To illustrate, Dev highlighted several Virtusa client case studies that showcase Web 2.0 solutions we have delivered for our clients.
