Prior Smart device testing is required. Prior Google experience is mandatory.
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated functional test cases based on product requirements and user stories.
Perform thorough new feature testing and end-to-end validation for upcoming hardware and software releases.
Conduct regression testing to ensure existing features remain stable across firmware and software updates.
Test on both released and unreleased devices such as smart speakers, displays, thermostats, and Pixel phones.
Identify, isolate, and report defects clearly and effectively using bug tracking tools.
Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes.
Maintain and manage test environments, including device setup and configuration across various software builds.
Contribute to test planning, coverage analysis, and continuous quality improvement processes.
Support beta and pre-release testing, user experience validation, and product readiness assessments.
5-7 years of hands-on experience in functional, feature, and regression testing, preferably on hardware or consumer electronics.
Familiarity with testing across various smart devices, mobile platforms (Android), and IoT ecosystems.
Experience with Android debugging tools (ADB), logs analysis, and test utilities.
Working knowledge of bug tracking and test case management tools.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical mindset.
