Job description
JD: Manual QA Test Engineer
Required Skills
Minimum 5+ years of experience in manual testing, including devices, automotive or other in-vehicle infotainment systems or other relevant software.
Proficiency in bug identification, reporting, tracking, retesting, and test case creation, type (Regression, Smoke, etc) .
Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies, defect triage, and test automation concepts.
Ability to use various devices and understand their functionalities.
Good understanding of defect triage process, ability to diagnose and resolve defects independently (looking at logs, code and metrics).
Experience with testing tools and methodologies (e.g., bug tracking systems like Jira, test case management tools like TestRail, mobile testing tools like Appium).
Preferred Skills
Understanding of relevant platforms (e.g., Android, iOS, Windows)
Understanding of specific domain - automotive infotainment
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous and detail-oriented approach to work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
Ability to evaluate software quality and identify potential risks.
Test plan creation, Test case creation, and strategies based on product specifications and requirements.
