Job description

SIT Automation Engineer – API & UI Testing

Core Technical Requirements

• Playwrightautomation for UI testing

• Integration Testing:Rest Assured or Karate for API testing

• Exposure to Kubernetes environments(OpenShift or GKE)

• Dockercontainerization familiarity

• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools(e.g., GitHub Copilot)

• Gitversion control

• CI/CDpipeline knowledge (Jenkins/GitHub Actions or similar)

Deliverables

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API and UI

• Ensure robust integration testing coverage

• Execute tests in Kubernetes-based environments

• Containerize and manage test environments using Docker

• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines

• Apply best practices for reliability and scalability in test automation

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

• Knowledge of API security standards (OAuth2, JWT)

• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
