Aecon’s existing IT systems presented significant hurdles. The migration required the seamless transfer of SAP and non-SAP workloads, the automation of infrastructure provisioning, and upgrades to outdated systems to mitigate operational risks. Adding to the complexity was the need to establish secure, scalable authentication through AWS Directory Service and SSO.
The deployment of the AWS Landing Zone Accelerator allowed Aecon to adopt cloud-native solutions seamlessly, ensuring scalability and long-term viability. Each phase of the migration was executed with precision, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to operations.
