Virtusa leveraged the client’s Operational Data Store (ODS) platform, built on Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), and Amazon Aurora to ingest data into an Amazon Redshift data warehouse using PySpark ETL. Today, the new solution has accelerated the client’s E&B data warehouse delivery to help track enrollments and premium collections and is now able to process full loads for 12 dimensions and seven facts with the peak processing of 16 million records.
