Virtusa Awarded CAQH CORE Endorser Seal, Demonstrates Commitment to Streamlining Healthcare Administration

SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. – (March 18, 2021) Virtusa Corporation, a global provider of digital strategy, digital engineering, and IT services and solutions that help clients change and disrupt markets through innovation engineering, announced today that it has received a CAQH® Committee on Operating Rules for Information Exchange (CORE®) Prior Authorization Rules Endorser Seal. This seal demonstrates the company’s commitment to streamlining electronic healthcare administrative data exchange. Virtusa Corporation achieved CORE Endorser status because it supports CAQH CORE’s mission, collaborative industry approach and administrative simplification objectives.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services selected CAQH CORE to develop national operating rules for HIPAA transactions to ensure that large amounts of data can be shared electronically in an efficient way regardless of what technology is being used. CAQH CORE is a collaboration of more than 130 public and private entities across the healthcare industry that work together to develop these rules. CORE-Certified entities cover more than 75 percent of the commercially insured population, including lives covered under Medicare and Medicaid plans.
