WESTBOROUGH, Mass., – (August 11, 2016) – VirtusaPolaris, the market-facing brand of Virtusa Corporation and Polaris Consulting & Services, Ltd., and a leading worldwide provider of information technology (IT) consulting and outsourcing services, today announced that the company’s chief people officer (CPO), Sundararajan Narayanan, has been named among the 2016 Outstanding 50 Asian-Americans in Business by the Asian-American Business Development Center.
The Outstanding 50 Asian-Americans in Business Awards is the only forum to highlight the achievements of Asian-American business professionals across the U.S. Award recipients represent a microcosm of the best Asian-American entrepreneurs, professionals and corporate executives engaged in a wide range of business interests, and all of whom have a role in driving the U.S. economy.

In his role at VirtusaPolaris, Narayanan focuses on building a digital ready people organization, rich in diversity and reflecting the strong cultural values of the company. Narayanan has nearly 20 years of experience in human resources and related disciplines within the information technology industry. He has previously held senior leadership positions in global companies, spanning compensation and benefits, training, leadership development, employee relationship management, recruitment and business HR facilitation.
The award was presented to Narayanan during the 15th annual awards dinner gala at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on June 16.
