Polaris Consulting & Services Ltd. an innovator in digital transformation and financial technology, announced that the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has gone live with the Web Aggregator Insurance Portal, named compareFIRST.sg.

compareFIRST is an interactive web portal that allows consumers to quickly compare the premiums and features of similar life insurance products offered by different insurance companies. Through the Web Aggregator portal the customers can avail a wide range of facilities from comparing the products, internationalization, calculating the EMI, knowing number of years of break even, feedbacks, reminders, reports and dashboards to identify the best suitable product. It will help consumers make informed decisions about what policy to buy and how much coverage to get. Consumers who wish to purchase life insurance products will need to approach their financial advisory representative or life insurance company.

Polaris designed and developed the portal and will be hosting and operating it as well; along with providing production support and consumer help desk support. Polaris was chosen because of its domain expertise in insurance, its user experience (UX) design capabilities, and its experience with end-to-end hosting and infrastructure management.

compareFIRST went live on 7^th April, and was widely reported on in the local media.
