Virtusa Named a Top Place to Work by The Times Union and WorkplaceDynamics

Company’s Albany center named one of the region’s best places to work

WESTBOROUGH, Mass., – (April 30, 2014) – Virtusa Corporation (NASDAQ: VRTU), a global business consulting and IT outsourcing company that combines innovation, technology leadership and industry solutions to transform the customer experience, today announced that it has been named by WorkplaceDynamics to The Times Union Top Workplaces list. Virtusa was ranked number nine in the small companies category on the prestigious list, which determined solely on employee feedback, identifies organizations that have created exceptional places to work.

Virtusa officially announced the opening of its new technology center in Albany in July of 2013, bringing more than 200 jobs to the area. The center is close to more than 15 colleges and universities which has enabled the company to collaborate with local tech talent. As a company that is 86 percent Millennial, Virtusa has made it a top priority to create an environment that not only retains Millennials, but also engages and empowers them to do their best work.
