Hyderabad - August 7, 2006 - Virtusa Corporation, a global provider of software development and IT services, today announced it has hired Ravi Vadapalli as global head and director, training and development. Based in Hyderabad, Ravi is responsible for shaping the leadership development strategy and execution program for the company worldwide. This appointment is one of several recent senior executive hires in Virtusa’s India operations.
Ravi, who has an MBA in Technology and Change Management from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, an MS in Software Engineering from BITS, Pilani and a BE in Electrical Engineering from Osmania University, has more than 16 years of experience in organization development, change management and learning domains. During the course of his career, he has designed and implemented talent transformation systems and processes for major companies, including large-scale development, change management and e-learning interventions. Ravi has also worked in the business development and learning domains.

Before Virtusa, Ravi worked for Satyam Computer Services Ltd as Full Life Cycle Leader for Business and Strategy Leadership in the Satyam School of Leadership. Prior to Satyam, he worked in NIIT Ltd and HCL Hewlett Packard. Ravi is acknowledged as an industry thought leader in the fields of organizational development and learning.
Ravi is married to Raji, a Japanese consultant, and they have two daughters – Sami, 7, and Harshi, 4.
