Experience: 14 - 15 years
The overall responsibility of this role is to facilitate the full lifecycle of a service at Virtusa include building transition and run of IT service lines
Drive complex IT projects infra support service desk Delivering these projects on time within budget and within scope
Coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are addressed
Set deadlines assigns responsibilities monitors and summarize project progress
Prepare reports for upper management regarding project status
Ensure project methodologies project delivery processes and implementation management processes are followed This includes managing and driving
o Project Schedule
o Risk and Issue Management
o Scope Change Management
o Manage the project budget including understanding and validating estimates as well as managing project resources effectively
Manage global team of 15 individuals
Scope and present new statements of work as needed
Mentor team members as their reporting manager
Provide governance for ongoing service delivery
o Act as escalation point for critical issues
o Predict staffing needs
o Review and presentation of delivery metrics
Ensure operational processes and procedures are met
Required Skills
Education Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or related field and or equivalent work experience
ITIL v4 certification
7 10 years progressive management experience including medium to large scale projects and IT service delivery
Understanding of ITIL framework
Basic understanding of IT technologies
Experience managing an Infrastructure or customer-facing support ie Service Desk
Experience working with technology vendors
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Excel and Powerpoint
Excellent verbal written and presentation skills
Proven success in managing IT projects
Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments
Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced dynamic environment
Nice to Have Skills
Experience with AWS Connect
PMP certification
Agile SCRUM Master certification
Infosec experience
Related infrastructure network virtualization certification.
