The role is a senior-level position responsible for driving enterprise project governance, portfolio management, and strategic execution. The role provides leadership across multiple complex programs/projects, ensures alignment with organizational strategy, and mentors junior PMO resources (T1/T2). The PMO T3 acts as a trusted partner to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Portfolio Management
Oversee and manage a portfolio of complex, cross-functional programs and projects
Ensure projects align with organizational strategy, goals, and priorities
Support executive leadership with portfolio-level reporting, insights, and decision support
Drive standardization of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
Governance & Compliance
Establish and enforce PMO governance frameworks, stage gates, and approval processes
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, risk management, and regulatory requirements
Lead project audits, health checks, and maturity assessments
Program & Project Oversight
Provide guidance and escalation support for high-risk or high-impact projects
Monitor project performance (scope, schedule, cost, quality, risks, dependencies)
Proactively identify and mitigate portfolio-level risks and issues
Support benefits realization tracking and post-implementation reviews
Stakeholder & Communication Management
Engage with senior stakeholders, sponsors, and business leaders
Prepare and present executive-level dashboards, reports, and briefings
Facilitate governance forums such as steering committees and portfolio reviews
