Job description
Excel Plug-in/Add-in Developer
Developer to design and implement a custom Excel add-in that integrates with the Conga
Platform. This role involves building secure, scalable solutions for authentication, data
capture, and API-driven operations (insert, update, delete), while ensuring seamless
deployment across Microsoft 365 environments.
Add-in Development
Build and maintain Excel add-ins using Office.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern
frameworks (React preferred).
Implement intuitive UI components (taskpane, ribbon commands) for data interaction and
publishing workflows.
Integration & API
Develop robust integrations with Conga REST APIs and GraphQL for CRUD operations.
Handle data transformation between Conga objects and Excel tables, ensuring accuracy
and performance.
Authentication & Security
Implement SSO using Azure AD and MSAL, and integrate OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect for
Write automated tests for Excel workflows and API contracts.
Implement telemetry (App Insights) and error correlation using Conga trace IDs.
Documentation & Support
Produce technical documentation for setup, deployment, and maintenance.
Provide guidance for troubleshooting and future enhancements.
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in Office.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks (React).
Hands-on experience with Excel object model (ranges, tables, charts) and asynchronous
patterns.
