Job Title Senior SQL Server DBA Experience 7–8 years of enterprise SQL Server DBA experience Job Summary Penske is seeking a Senior SQL Server DBA to support 24x7 mission critical fleet and logistics systems This role is responsible for database availability performance security and recoverability across enterprise SQL Server environments Key Responsibilities Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server 2014–2022 in Production DR UAT and Dev Manage High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions including Always On Availability Groups Failover Clustering and Log Shipping Perform backup restore and disaster recovery testing to meet RTO and RPO objectives Monitor and tune SQL Server performance including blocking deadlocks indexing and wait statistics Ensure database stability capacity planning and proactive issue prevention Implement and maintain database security access controls and auditing Automate DBA tasks using SQL Agent and PowerShell Participate in on call rotation and production incident resolution Maintain operational documentation and follow enterprise support processes Required Skills 7–8 years of SQL Server DBA experience Strong expertise in high availability disaster recovery performance tuning and backup recovery Experience supporting large high availability production systems Strong knowledge of Windows Server and PowerShell Experience in 24x7 enterprise environments
