Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide application support for enterprise systems, ensuring uptime and
performance.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application and database-related issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring
problems.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.
Strong experience in application support and database administration.
Expertise in Oracle, IBM Db2, and SQL Server.
Knowledge of IBM WebSphere, BEA WebLogic, and middleware technologies.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Dynamics.
Proficiency in SQL and performance tuning.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Desirable:
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python).
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Exposure to cloud-native technologies and automation tools.
Education and qualifications
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related
field, or equivalent experience.
Desirable:
Certifications in Oracle, IBM, Microsoft Azure, or Dynamics.
