The SCCM Application Package Engineer will be responsible for managing, configuring, and deploying software applications using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SCCM, application packaging, and deployment, as well as strong
troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibility
This position involves working with business application owners and our automation solution to fulfil application delivery, automation, and troubleshooting requirements.
We will need to package business applications and automate our application deployment processes for Windows 10 or 11, and VDIs on behalf of direct customers

Application Packaging and Deployment: Create, test, and deploy application packages using SCCM. Ensure software applications are properly configured and installed on end-user devices.
SCCM Administration: Manage and maintain the SCCM infrastructure, including site servers, distribution points, and client health.
Patch Management: Implement and manage the distribution of software updates and patches using SCCM to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and other automation tools to streamline application deployment and management processes.
Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor the health and performance of SCCM infrastructure and applications. Generate and analyze reports to ensure successful deployments and compliance.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide tier 2/3 support for SCCM-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve application deployment and configuration issues.
Microsoft SCCM technical support with advanced knowledge of server and client maintenance, troubleshooting, query writing, and application deployments.
Applicant must have excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and strong teamwork skills.
Ability to create custom collections, reports, packages and/or advertisements to support user or IT requests Improve and maintain client health for the overall SCCM environment.
Automate the installation and configuration of package Windows applications,
security patches, Windows feature updates, drivers, language packs, and vulnerability fixes for physical virtual servers and PCs, in a format compatible with SCCM or other client side application deployment systems in conjunction with our automation solution.
Design, develop, coordinate, and manage application packaging projects.
Package applications and software updates using a scripting language like VBScript.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis and remediation efforts on major Windows application packaging and deployments.Diagnose Windows application deployment issues and coordinate package
improvements fixes with customer IT 5 years of application packaging experience in an enterprise Information Technology department.
