Job description

Job Title: IAM Process Support Analyst
Location: Hybrid / Remote
Experience: 3–6 years
Function: Identity & Access Management / Security Operations Support

Role Overview


The IAM Process Support Analyst focuses on the operational and governance processes surrounding identity and access management. This role ensures that IAM processes are executed consistently, documented properly, and aligned with security policies, audit requirements, and risk management practices. The position acts as a bridge between IAM tooling, business users, and GRC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day IAM operational processes including access requests, approvals, exceptions, and terminations
  • Ensure joiner, mover, and leaver processes are followed consistently across business units
  • Coordinate manual IAM processes for systems not fully integrated with Saviynt or Entra ID
  • Track and validate completion of access reviews and remediation activities
  • Assist with investigation and resolution of IAM-related incidents (e.g., delayed deprovisioning, excessive access)
  • Maintain IAM process documentation, SOPs, and workflow diagrams
  • Support internal and external audits by collecting evidence and validating IAM controls
  • Work with GRC to document risk acceptances and IAM-related exceptions
  • Coordinate with HR, IT, application owners, and security teams on access-related issues
  • Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and control weaknesses, and recommend improvements
  • Track IAM metrics and support reporting on access governance KPIs

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of IAM concepts and access governance processes
  • Experience supporting identity lifecycle and access management processes
  • Familiarity with access reviews, audit evidence collection, and compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage manual and semi-automated processes accurately

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working alongside Saviynt, Entra ID, or similar IAM tools
  • Exposure to hybrid identity environments (Microsoft + Google Workspace)
  • Background in GRC, SOX, or PCI-related IAM controls
