Role Overview - We are seeking a Software Tester (QA Engineer) to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications. The ideal candidate will design test plans, execute test cases, and collaborate with developers to identify and resolve issues before release. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, document, and execute manual and automated test cases.Identify, track, and report software defects using issue-tracking tools.Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.Ensure applications meet quality standards, usability, and security requirements.Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools. Required Skills & QualificationsStrong knowledge of software testing methodologies (manual and automated).Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress).Familiarity with bug-tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred QualificationsExperience with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).ISTQB or other QA certifications.
