Role Focus: Automation Strategy · Framework Ownership · CI/CD Integration
Role Summary
The Automation Lead will own the automation strategy and framework for Gemini Connector validation including functional, API, regression, and AI validation pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Design automation architecture for connector validation
Select tools and define test framework standards
Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines
Establish test data management strategy
Mentor SDET team and enforce quality standards
Track automation coverage and quality KPIs
Drive shift-left testing adoption
Required Skills & Experience
7+ years in test automation engineering
Strong experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, REST automation
Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Cloud Build)
API automation experience using Postman/Newman/REST Assured
Strong framework design experience
