Job description

Job Title: Data Architect
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Data Architect with 14+ years of
strong hands-on experience in designing scalable, high-performance data
architectures. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in multi-tenant and
single-tenant data models, strong RDBMS and NoSQL knowledge, and proven
experience in migrating on-premise legacy databases (such as DB2/Oracle 12c) to
PostgreSQL on cloud platforms.
This role requires both strategic architectural thinking and strong hands-on execution
capability.
Key Responsibilities
Data Architecture & Design
 Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data
architectures.
 Define data standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.
 Optimize data storage, partitioning strategies, indexing, and query
performance.
 Create logical and physical data models aligned with business requirements.
 Ensure data integrity, security, availability, and compliance standards.
o PostgreSQL
o Oracle
o SQL-based relational databases
o NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, etc.)
 Design schema, indexing strategies, stored procedures, and performance
tuning mechanisms.
 Lead database capacity planning and performance benchmarking activities.
Legacy Modernization & Data Migration
 Lead and execute data migration initiatives from legacy databases such
as DB2 to PostgreSQL on cloud platforms.
 Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to align data
Mandatory Requirements
 14+ years of strong hands-on experience in designing data models for
multi-tenant and single-tenant architectures.
 Strong hands-on experience with RDBMS including:
o PostgreSQL
o Oracle
o SQL-based databases
 Strong hands-on experience with NoSQL databases.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with data warehousing and ETL frameworks.
 Familiarity with microservices-based architecture.
 Knowledge of data security standards and compliance frameworks.
 Experience with CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.
Soft Skills
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 Excellent stakeholder communication
