Job description
Lead end-to-end project delivery for Java-based applications hosted on AWS.
Manage project scope, timelines, resources, risks, and quality.
Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure smooth execution of technical tasks.
Translate business requirements into detailed technical tasks and track progress through Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Prepare project plans, dashboards, and status reports for stakeholders.
Conduct sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
Oversee CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments in AWS environments.
Manage communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, security, and compliance requirements.
Continuously evaluate project performance and identify areas for process improvement.
Evalute team members performance and help them to upskill
Should have AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer certification. PMP, CSM, or other project management certifications.
Experience with API integration, RESTful services, and cloud-native design.
Prior experience managing large-scale enterprise projects or migration to AWS.
8+ years of experience in software development and project delivery.
3+ years of project management experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong understanding of Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFormation, etc.).
Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Excellent understanding of SDLC and Agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and client communications.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
