| Primary Skill: Trade Finance Secondary Skill: SWIFT / Core Banking Integration Role Overview As a Trade Finance SME at Virtusa, you will lead functional and integration validation for trade finance modernization initiatives, supporting the transition from legacy platforms to CGI Trade360 and integrated core banking ecosystems. You will ensure BAU alignment, regulatory compliance, and scalable trade workflows across multi-country rollouts. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end Trade Finance functional analysis (LCs, Guarantees, Collections, SCF). • Validate AS-IS vs TO-BE trade workflows and BAU alignment. • Translate business requirements into BRDs, FSDs, and epics/backlogs. • Validate SWIFT MT/MX messaging, limits, accounting, and settlement flows. • Support fit-gap analysis for CGI Trade360 against legacy platforms. • Work closely with integration and core banking teams to validate handoffs. • Facilitate workshops with business, vendors, and SI partners. • Support UAT strategy, test case validation, and defect triage. • Ensure regulatory and operational completeness across trade processes. • Act as primary liaison between business, LG CNS, and vendors. • Support country rollout readiness and knowledge transfer. • Advise on automation and digitization opportunities. Qualifications • 10–15 years in banking with deep Trade Finance expertise. • Hands-on experience with trade platforms (CGI Trade360 / TI / equivalent). • Strong understanding of SWIFT, limits, accounting, and settlements. • Experience in large transformation and multi-country rollouts. • Strong stakeholder and workshop facilitation skills. |
