Job description
Design and lead the integration architecture for Mashreq Bank’s migration to a higher version
of Oracle Flexcube. Ensure seamless connectivity between Flexcube and peripheral
systems, compliance with regulatory standards, and delivery of a secure, scalable, and high-
performing integration landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Define and implement end-to-end integration architecture for Flexcube upgrade projects.
Design APIs, middleware, and data flows for real-time and batch integrations across
multiple banking systems.
Collaborate with business, operations, and technology teams to capture integration
requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure compliance with banking security standards, regulatory guidelines, and
governance frameworks.
Oversee integration testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization during SIT,
UAT, and production cutover.
Provide technical leadership and mentor integration engineers; manage vendor
deliverables.
Support data migration activities and ensure integration readiness for cutover.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, design, and operational
procedures.
Skills & Experience
12–15 years of experience in integration architecture within banking or financial services.
Strong expertise in Oracle Flexcube and its integration frameworks.
Hands-on experience with API management, ESB, middleware tools (e.g., Oracle SOA,
MuleSoft).
Knowledge of cloud integration patterns, security protocols and high availability
architecture.
Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver complex integration
programs.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering / Master’s in Computer Applications
Experience in core banking transformation programs.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance in UAE banking.
Certifications in Oracle Flexcube, Integration Architecture, or Cloud Technologies.
