Devops Engineer
Candidates with 5+ years of experience often have increased responsibilities such as maintaining resolving technical issues.
Strong experience in Linux and Windows system administration.
Develop & maintain automation procedures to assist with infrastructure automation.
Execute application software build & deployments supporting applications across the enterprise.
Develop & maintain scripts to automate existing manual build & deployment procedures
Source Code Management: GIT Administration - Create & Maintain Branches, Handle Periodic Code Merges, Source Code Repositories User Management, having RESTAPI
knowledge to create automation scripts in Azure services is plus.
Work with Application Development & Operation teams to understand project specific needs with DevOps core function areas and implement the same.
Evaluate existing processes & tools and implement changes for better efficiency.
Analyze requirements and provide technical solutions for all automation needs.
Co-ordinate the promotion of code to test, qa, stage & production environments in support of all roadmap & emergency releases.
Experience in handling Production releases activities such as coordinating with application and Release Management Teams.
Provide configuration management support for all applications and projects
Show an understanding of the industry standards and practices and the knowledge of technical industry trends as they apply to client existing infrastructure.
Work in a fast paced agile type environment and should be good at multitasking
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CI tools like Jenkins.
Experience with Deployment Automation tools like IBM UrbanCode, Jenkins
Experience with any ticketing tools, preferably ServiceNow.
Strong understanding of SDLC and Change management process.
Experience in MSBuild & Maven based builds.
Hands-on experience on Azure Devops Pipeline, Agent Pool etc.
Deployment experience for Java, J2EE, Microsoft and Mobile applications
Experience with Docker , kubernetes are must and OpenShift experience is add-on.
Expertise in troubleshooting microservice applications in Kubernetes cluster.
Strong understanding in networking such as HTTP,TCP/IP protocols.
Windows IIS administration is a must.
Experience in handling Production releases activities such as coordinating with application and Release Management Teams
