Technical Documentation Engineer

Required Skills & Experience ● Technical Writing & Documentation: Proven experience preparing technical documentation for enterprise software, integrations, or implementation projects. ● Diagramming: Proficiency in tools such as Lucidchart, Visio, Draw.io, or equivalent for creating low-level and network diagrams. ● API Documentation: Hands-on experience documenting REST/SOAP APIs, including authentication and error handling. ● DevOps/Release Management: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and software release cycles. ● Process Flows & Data Mapping: Strong ability to create process/data flow diagrams and capture system behaviors. ● Security Awareness: Understanding of InfoSec requirements, role-based access, and compliance-driven documentation. ● Tools: Comfortable working with Confluence, Jira, Git, Markdown, Swagger/OpenAPI, and MS Office Suite. Qualifications ● 8+ years of experience in software solutioning, architecture and designing with technical documentation, DevOps documentation, or implementation project support. ● Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional technical and business teams. ● Attention to detail with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into structured, user-friendly documentation. ● Prior experience in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) with knowledge of networking/security documentation. ● Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. ● Familiarity with regulatory or InfoSec compliance documentation (ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2, etc.). ● Experience supporting AI/Automation/Integration platforms is a plus.
