DB testing
You will join as a Quality Engineer within the Quality Engineering chapter and be responsible for database centric applications for the Performance and Attribution team based in Gurgaon India The role involves designing BDD Gherkin test scenarios for database workflows using Python Automating data validation and transformation using pandas and numpy Developing robust test suites for Oracle and PostgreSQL with performance and data integrity checks Leveraging Gen AI tools for intelligent test generation prioritization and diagnostics Creating parameterized test data and queries using YAML configurations Executing and monitoring CI CD pipelines while interpreting test metrics and anomaly indicators Managing the full test data lifecycle including synthetic data generation anonymization and refresh strategies Supporting defect isolation with detailed logs and diagnostics Continuously refactoring test assets to improve stability performance and reusability The role requires more than five years of hands on experience in software testing with a strong focus on database driven applications Strong Python expertise for automation data shaping and modular test design Proficiency in pandas and numpy for large scale dataset comparison and statistical validation Solid experience with BDD practices and Gherkin syntax Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL Hands on experience with CI CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI Experience using Gen AI tools in testing environments Knowledge of investment banking domains preferably performance and attribution Strong analytical and problem solving skills and a good understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
