Infrastructure Project Manager

Job description

The role requires a Project Manager with approximately six years of experience in IT Infrastructure project management. The candidate must come from an infrastructure background and hold a Scrum Master certification. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is mandatory along with strong verbal and written communication skills.The candidate should have proven experience of five or more years delivering IT infrastructure projects preferably within financial services or cybersecurity environments. Experience delivering projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies is required along with a demonstrated history of successful project delivery. A broad understanding of the infrastructure technology stack is essential including cloud technologies and end user computing. Experience with Zoom and audio visual technologies is an added advantage.Responsibilities include managing project budgets delivering results and building strong client and customer relationships. The role requires the ability to report to steering committees made up of senior executives and proven experience managing both internal and external technology partners. The candidate must be able to analyze complex problems in a structured manner under pressure and demonstrate a strong desire to build effective working relationships with business and technology stakeholders. Excellent communication skills and a flexible collaborative working style are required.The role also requires proven experience driving Agile team behaviors and promoting Agile principles values and techniques. A degree level qualification or equivalent experience is preferred. PRINCE2 or PMP certification is desirable. Agile certifications are required including Scrum Master certification and additional Agile certifications such as AgilePM PRINCE2 Agile or SAFe are beneficial.Core skills include IT infrastructure project management cloud technologies AWS Azure end user computing delivery and results orientation stakeholder management and partner management.
