Technical & Process Owner: Designs the ServiceNow roadmap (upgrades, new integrations). Oversees complex licensing logic (Oracle/IBM) and validates the output of the Reconciliation Engine. Manages the N-1 upgrade path.

Strong communication skills with prior experience in client-facing and team leadership roles.
Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow SAM Pro module, including strong knowledge of contracts, license models, and product use rights for major publishers such as Microsoft, Adobe, and Oracle.
Experience in onboarding software publishers within SAM Pro.
Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and other modules.
Ability to establish and manage software license compliance and the complete license lifecycle, covering purchase, installation, upgrades, reallocation, and retirement.
Experience managing software models, entitlements, and license metrics in SAM Pro.
Strong research capability to assess software products, interpret vendor license agreements, and identify licensing risks and implications.
Experience performing license reconciliation to ensure compliance with vendor contracts.
Ability to assess current processes and benchmark them against industry best practices.
Capability to suggest and implement technical measures to optimize license usage and reduce costs, including analysis of new project requirements.
Experience tracking software license usage and identifying overspending or compliance risks.
Strong analytical skills to identify optimization opportunities and cost-saving strategies.
Experience developing reports and dashboards to monitor usage, compliance, and cost savings.
Ability to create and manage workflows for software procurement, deployment, and retirement.
Effective communication with stakeholders on SAM Pro processes, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Execute weekly operational SAM cycles, including audits, compliance checks, and reporting.
Identify and resolve software compliance gaps in line with organizational policies.
Process Sourcing Requests efficiently, ensuring accurate licensing and procurement alignment.
Create and track Remediation Tasks to address compliance or licensing discrepancies.
Manage the Renewal Calendar to ensure timely renewals and avoid business disruption.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst.
CIS-SAM Certification (or equivalent recognized SAM certification).
Hands-on experience with Publisher Packs such as Microsoft, Salesforce, Oracle, etc.
Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and Power BI.
