Require 7 to 10 years of strong On Hand experience working in Vertex & Integrating with Oracle Cloud ERP application
Lead Vertex Indirect Tax O Series Solution including design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Define and manage tax categories, taxability mapping, and tax codes within Vertex and integrated systems.
Support Integrations between Vertex O Series and Oracle Cloud ERP including Accounts Payable, Procurement, Receivables etc.
Configure and troubleshoot issues between Vertex & Oracle Cloud ERP.
Collaborate with Oracle Cloud technical teams to ensure seamless data flow and resolve integration-related issues.
Apply a strong understanding of Indirect tax laws (Sales & Use Tax) to ensure accurate system configuration and compliance.
Stay current with Vertex software updates, tax law changes, and industry best practices.
Provide timely and effective support for Vertex O Series Incidents, including troubleshooting tax calculation discrepancies, system errors, and performance issues.
Perform routine system health checks, maintenance activities, and user access management for Vertex.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate effectively with Business Users, finance teams, IT Teams, and external vendors as needed
Preferred: Knowledge of specific industry tax regulations (e.g., healthcare, insurance).
Good to have knowledge on Oracle cloud ERP financials modules, preferably AP & Procurement
