Process Mining Analyst
Location: Warsaw
Duration: Permanent
The Process Mining CoE within Global Business Services (GBS) is focused on delivering process digital
twins and analytics driving actionable insights for our business.
The Process Mining team have established themselves as a pivotal advanced analytics capability that
can unlock processing capacity and value at AstraZeneca through automated process discovery,
analytics, and automated decision-support workflows. We drive data-led process performance
improvements by transforming digital process data into process models using sophisticated process
mining techniques. Custom analyses & workflows are built using these process models to generate
the business insights needed to drive process performance improvements.
We are looking for a Process Mining Consultant to join the Process Mining team as we scale the
capability and deliver process mining (Celonis) solutions across AstraZeneca.
Main duties and responsibilities
Working alongside the Senior Managers within the Process Mining team, the role will be responsible
for the following activities:
Identify required data sources, support data extraction and transformations (ETL)
Identify and connect to various data sources across AstraZeneca
(API, data warehouses, data lakes)
Implement data extractions, transformations and build data models (SQL)
Build automated workflows and low-code automations to facilitate pro-active process
interventions
Essential requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable degree
Fluency with relational databases using SQL queries, data modelling etc.
Fluency in producing data visualisations to communicate process data effectively in a data
visualisation tool either in a Process Mining tool (e.g. Celonis) or other similar Analytics tools
1-3 years’ experience in Data Engineering / Analytics / Process Mining projects
Analytical skills to be able to discover, analyse and draw insight from complex data sets
Knowledge of at least 1 functional area processes (Finance, HR etc.) and related Source
System datasets is nice to have
Hands-on experience in a Process Mining Tool (Celonis, UiPath, QPR, Minit, Signavio etc.) will
be a strong advantage
Experience with source code version control and issue tracking (Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence)
