Senior Lead QA Automation Engineer who will play a key role in owning and driving our automation and accessibility testing strategy within a Banking Financial Services environment This role requires a technically strong individual who can lead offshore QA efforts independently build and scale automation frameworks and ensure high quality compliant and accessible digital app The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in automation using Robot Framework with Python hands on experience in Accessibility Testing WCAG 2122 and strong exposure to modern automation tools such as Playwright The candidate is expected to actively contribute to cross browser and device testing using platforms like Browser Stack and or Perfecto and integrate automation into CICD pipelines As a senior member of the QA team this role demands strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate effectively with onshore stakeholders developers and product teams The candidate will mentor junior QA engineers conduct reviews drive best practices and ensure quality standards are consistently met Experience in the Banking Financial Services domain is mandatory with an understanding of domain specific quality compliance and regulatory expectations
Responsibilities
Strong hands on in QA Automation for web applications
Expertise in Robot Framework with Python
Ability to independently design set up and scale automation frameworks
Experience or openness to work with Playwright for modern automation
Strong understanding of automation best practices design patterns and maintainability
Experience integrating automation with CICD pipelines
Exposure to Sea lights Thought Works or test observability tools
Ability to analyze automation results and provide actionable quality insights
Ability to lead offshore QA teams and own automation deliverables
Mentor and guide junior QA engineers including code reviews and best practices
Strong communication skills able to interact confidently with onshore teams and stakeholders mandatory
Mandatory experience in the Banking Financial Services domain
Ability to drive quality standards processes and continuous improvement
Strong problem solving skills with a leadership and ownership mindset
