Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for modern digital platforms. The Automation QA Engineer will ensure continuous quality across UI, APIs, backend services, and data workflows, working closely with developers, DevOps, AI/ML, and product teams in an Agile environment.
.UI & API Automation Develop automated tests for web and UI applications using modern automation tools.
Build and maintain API automation suites to validate business logic, data integrity, and integrations.
Ensure cross‑browser and cross‑platform coverage where applicable.
CI/CD & Continuous Testing Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and fast feedback.
Ensure automated tests run reliably in different environments (dev, test, staging).
Monitor pipeline failures and collaborate with teams to resolve automation issues quickly.
Data & AI‑Aware Testing
Work closely with manual QA, developers, DevOps, and product teams in Agile sprints.
Participate actively in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Continuously improve automation frameworks, test coverage, and execution efficiency.
4–8 years of experience in software testing, with strong focus on test automation.
Hands‑on experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent.
Strong experience in API automation using tools/frameworks such as RestAssured, Postman, or similar.
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Solid understanding of testing concepts, SDLC, Agile, and CI/CD practices.
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray, Zephyr).
Strong analytical and debugging skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
Exposure to cloud environments, containerized applications, or microservices architectures.
Knowledge of data validation and backend/database testing.
Experience validating multi‑tenant and role‑based access (RBAC) scenarios.
Familiarity with security testing basics and compliance-driven testing.
ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
