Automation Tester
Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web, desktop, and mobile applications. The role involves working closely with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery through efficient test automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, UFT, or Cypress
Execute automated test suites and analyze results for defects and performance issues
Collaborate with development and QA teams to define test scenarios and requirements
Develop and maintain test frameworks and reusable components
Identify, log, and track defects, and ensure timely resolution
Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
Perform regression, functional, performance, and integration testing as needed
Maintain test documentation and provide regular status reports
Required Skills & Qualifications
Hands-on experience in test automation tools (Selenium WebDriver, UFT, Cypress, etc.)
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD)
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices
Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, ALM, etc.)
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Good to Have
Experience with API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or SOAP UI
Knowledge of cloud testing or containerized testing environments
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
3–7 years of experience in automation testing
