Job description
Databricks Platform Management
Administer configure and maintain Databricks environments to ensure efficient analytics and machine learning operations.
AWS Environment Administration
Oversee AWS services such as EC2 S3 IAM Glue and Lambda for secure scalable and reliable data platform operations.
User and Access Management
Implement and manage roles permissions and user provisioning within Databricks and AWS in adherence to AstraZenecas data governance policies.
Incident Response and Troubleshooting
Monitor system health respond to platform issues and resolve service incidents collaborating with IT and vendor support as needed.
Integration and Automation
Support deployments and integrations of data pipelines between Databricks AWS and other systems and automate routine platform administration tasks.
Security and Compliance
Enforce AstraZenecas security protocols and regulatory requirements conduct platform monitoring and support internal and external audits.
Documentation and Enablement
Maintain platform guides and procedures and provide training and best practices to technical and business users.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to optimize platform use enhance user experience and increase operational efficiency for analytics and AI initiatives.
Essential
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or a related field.
Proven platform administration experience of cloud based data and analytics infrastructure.
Significant hands on experience managing and optimizing Databricks environments including cluster administration workspace management and platform integrations.
Deep working knowledge of AWS data and analytics services such as EC2 S3 IAM Glue and Lambda encompassing deployment security and resource management.
