Job Description – Business Analyst (Insurance – AMS Support)

Role Summary
The Business Analyst will support functional analysis, documentation, and operational
alignment activities within the AMS engagement. The role will focus on understanding
business processes, supporting incident analysis, and assisting in requirement gathering
across Claims, Underwriting, and Data domains.
Key Responsibilities
Support requirement gathering and documentation for incidents, enhancements, and
change requests
Perform functional analysis and assist in impact assessments
Collaborate with technical teams to clarify business rules and workflows
Assist in preparing functional specifications, process flows, and user stories
Participate in incident triage and support resolution discussions
Support UAT coordination and validation with business users
Maintain documentation, knowledge repositories, and process artifacts
Assist in reporting, dashboard preparation, and operational metrics tracking
Required Skills & Qualifications
Working knowledge of Insurance domain, preferably Claims or Underwriting
Understanding of AMS / application support lifecycle
Ability to interpret business requirements and document clearly
Basic SQL and data validation knowledge preferred
Strong communication and stakeholder interaction skills
Experience working in structured governance and SLA-driven environments
