Job description
The skills that are key to this role include developing and enhancing Java applications using modern frameworks such as Micronaut and Spring. Resolving complex issues in Java and NodeJS applications. Authoring comprehensive migration documentation and supporting teams through migration initiatives. Participating in framework discussions and providing technical insights. Implementing and integrating OpenAPI code generation and automation tools including Copilot Renovate and OpenRewrite. Enabling and supporting serverless deployment features and integrations such as AWS Lambda Terracore and IacLego. Contributing to the development and enhancement of Dynamic Config APIs and other platform tools. Addressing application upgrade challenges and automating upgrade processes. Mentoring junior developers and interns while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Ensuring feature parity security and compliance across products. Collaborating on resolving pipeline and deployment challenges using Stratum pipelines.
Required skills include six to nine years of hands on experience in Java development. Strong expertise in cloud native architectures and microservices. Proficiency with Micronaut or Spring or NodeJS and related Java or NodeJS frameworks. Experience with RESTful APIs OpenAPI specifications and code generation tools. Familiarity with CI CD pipelines automation tools and DevOps practices. Exposure to serverless architectures such as AWS Lambda and containerization. Strong problem solving skills and the ability to address technical debt and automate upgrades. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Ability to mentor and collaborate effectively within a team.
Preferred skills include experience with Python. Knowledge of security standards JWT and enterprise authentication. Familiarity with circuit breaker dynamic config API inventory and CI and CD pipelines.
