Key Responsibilities:
Lead and implement ServiceNow SAM Pro integrations with SaaS publishers (e.g., Microsoft 365, Adobe, Salesforce, Oracle, AWS, etc.), including both OOB connectors and custom APIs.
Build, configure, and maintain custom integration frameworks to support non-standard or emerging SaaS vendors.
Collaborate with procurement, IT asset management, and vendor management teams to ingest procurement and entitlement data from ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion, SAP).
Develop and optimize normalization rules, reconciliation jobs, and license metric mappings in SAM Pro.
Conduct data analysis and health checks to validate license positions and ensure compliance with publisher audit requirements.
Define integration requirements, create technical design documentation, and support the development lifecycle including UAT and production deployment.
Guide stakeholder workshops and act as a subject matter expert on SAM Pro licensing models, discovery methodologies, and optimization strategies.
Support ongoing operationalization of the SAM Pro module by enabling automation and process standardization.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in ServiceNow SAM Pro implementations and integrations.
Proven experience with SaaS license models and entitlement integrations for major software publishers.
Strong hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery & MID Server.
Strong hands-on knowledge of IntegrationHub and custom API integrations.
Strong hands-on knowledge of software normalization and reconciliation rules.
Strong hands-on knowledge of license metric definitions and compliance calculations.
Experience with integrating procurement systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion, Coupa) and HR systems for user-based entitlements.
Proficiency in JavaScript, REST APIs, and ServiceNow scripting.
Familiarity with ITAM, ITSM, and CMDB best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Software Asset Management (SAM).
Experience with ServiceNow ITOM and Cloud Management modules.
Understanding of SAM governance frameworks (e.g., ISO 19770).
Knowledge of license optimization and true-up strategies for enterprise publishers.
