Job description
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end QA strategy for data migration and modernization initiatives.
Design, document, and manage detailed test cases covering:
Source to EDW validation
EDW to Databricks (Silver/Gold layers) transformation validation
Databricks Gold to Power BI dashboard validation
Perform:
Data reconciliation and completeness checks
Transformation logic validation
Aggregation and business rule validation
Claims KPI validation (loss ratio, claim counts, reserves, severity, etc.)
Validate data lineage and traceability across systems.
Execute SQL-based data validation and compare large datasets across environments.
Perform regression, UAT support, and defect triage.
Collaborate with:
Data engineers (Databricks)
BI developers (Power BI)
Business stakeholders (Claims SMEs)
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all layers.
Support production validation and post-deployment verification.
Maintain QA documentation and test execution reports.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of QA experience, with at least 3–4 years in data/ETL testing.
Strong SQL skills (complex joins, aggregations, reconciliation queries).
Experience testing data pipelines in:
Databricks
EDW environments
Strong understanding of:
Data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension models)
Data validation and reconciliation techniques
ETL/ELT processes
Experience validating BI dashboards (Power BI preferred).
Familiarity with data quality frameworks and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Ability to independently manage QA workstream for a project

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions while ensuring high-quality standards through effective testing methodologies. This role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software products.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications in accordance with project requirements.
- Implement and manage automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality and performance.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams to define testing strategies and requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance software quality.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software development and QA automation.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven experience in QA Automation Testing, including tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
- Experience in working with version control systems like Git.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in software development and QA automation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
