Ensure Quality:Guarantee stability, performance, and compatibility ofChromeOS Flex on diverse, non‑Chromebook hardware.
Test Strategy & Planning:Define comprehensive test strategiesfornewChromeOS Flexreleases and hardware certifications, addressing challenges such as hardware diversity, UEFI Secure Boot, and TPM variations.
Test Case Development :Design, implement, and maintain automated and Manual tests based oninfrastructure, primarily leveraging Tast whileintegrating with existingChromeOS systems.
Root‑Cause Analysis:Oversee test execution and performin‑depth analysis of complex failurestoprovide actionableinsights.
Bug Lifecycle Management:Triage, prioritize, and track defectstoresolutioninclose collaboration withChromeOS Flex engineering teams.
Hardware Compatibility (HCL):Drive testing effortstoensure seamless performance across certified and uncertified devices,recognizing differences between standardChromeOS and Flex environments.
ProcessInnovation:Identify and implement improvementsintesting methodologies andtoolingtobroaden coverage andincrease efficiency.
Leadership & Mentorship:Provide technical guidancetojunior engineers and lead major cross‑functional testinginitiatives.

Bachelor’s degreeinComputer Science,related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of experienceinsoftware quality or test engineering.
Deep familiarity with Linux environments, command‑linetools, and platform‑level software testing on diverse hardware.
Experience withChromeOS/ChromiumOS development and testing practices, specifically using frameworks like Tast or Autotest
