The AI Lead Developer builds end-to-end AI pipelines for data processing, feature engineering, model training, and deployment, and ensures scalable inference systems using microservices, APIs, or distributed frameworks. The role also focuses on optimizing models for accuracy, fairness, and cost efficiency, implementing MLOps practices for model versioning, CI/CD, automated retraining, and monitoring, and deploying solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP using services such as SageMaker, Vertex AI, or Azure ML. Additional responsibilities include researching emerging AI technologies, conducting POCs, and driving innovation through experimentation. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential for translating complex AI concepts into actionable insights for stakeholders and promoting AI adoption across the organization. Required qualifications include 6–12+ years of experience in software and AI engineering, hands-on expertise with Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and transformer-based frameworks, proficiency in NLP, LLMs, computer vision, or predictive modeling, and experience with cloud-based ML platforms and MLOps tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, and Docker. A solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and API development, along with leadership and mentoring capabilities, is critical.
