Test Strategy & Planning:
a Define and implement comprehensive testing strategies for capital markets applications, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT.
b Collaborate with development, business analysts, and product owners to ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements and regulatory standards.
Team Leadership:
a Lead and mentor a team of QA analysts, test engineers, and automation specialists onshore offshore
Drive performance and accountability through clear KPIs and objectives.
Test Execution & Reporting:
a) Oversee test case creation, execution, and defect management using industry-standard tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, qTest).
b) Provide test metrics, status reports, and risk assessments to senior stakeholders.
Ensure traceability between test cases and business/technical requirements. Automation Tools:
a) Guide implementation and maintenance of automated test frameworks for capital markets systems.
b) Evaluate and integrate testing tools suitable for complex financial applications.
Regulatory Compliance Testing:
a) Ensure QA processes support MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, EMIR, or other relevant regulatory compliance efforts.
b) Manage audits and documentation as part of regulatory review processes.
