Job Description: SCF Product Engineer (Supply Chain Finance)
Role Summary
We are seeking a Supply Chain Finance (SCF) Product Engineer to design, build, and enhance digital SCF solutions. The role combines strong domain knowledge in supply chain finance with hands-on technical expertise to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing financial products.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain SCF platforms and digital trade finance solutions
Translate SCF business requirements into technical and functional specifications
Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and operations teams
Build and integrate APIs for SCF workflows such as invoice financing, reverse factoring, and supplier onboarding
Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and risk controls
Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability
Support UAT, production releases, and post-go-live activities
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to SCF applications
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong understanding of Supply Chain Finance and trade finance products
Experience working on SCF platforms, trade finance systems, or fintech solutions
Hands-on experience in application development or system integration
Knowledge of financial workflows, payment processing, and reconciliation
Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and system integrations
Familiarity with databases and data modeling for financial applications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
Experience in banking or financial services organizations
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of ISO 20022, SWIFT, or payment messaging standards
Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field
5+ years of experience in SCF, trade finance, or financial product engineering (preferred)
