Finacle Scripting Engineer
Role Summary
We are seeking a Finacle Scripting Engineer with strong expertise in Infosys Finacle Core Banking to design, develop, and support custom scripts and configurations. The role focuses on enhancing core banking functionalities, ensuring seamless integrations, and supporting business and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain Finacle scripts to meet business requirements
Configure Finacle Core Banking modules and parameters
Support product customization, workflows, and validations within Finacle
Collaborate with functional teams to translate banking requirements into technical solutions
Support integration with surrounding systems and channels
Perform unit testing, defect fixing, and support UAT and production deployments
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to Finacle scripting
Ensure adherence to banking security, compliance, and coding standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience with Finacle scripting and customization
Good understanding of Finacle Core Banking modules (CASA, Loans, Deposits, Payments, etc.)
Knowledge of banking business processes and core banking operations
Experience with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting
Familiarity with databases (Oracle/SQL)
Good to Have
Experience in Finacle upgrades, rollouts, or migrations
Exposure to Finacle APIs and integrations
Knowledge of ISO 8583 / payment interfaces
Experience in production support environments
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
4–8 years of experience in Finacle Core Banking and scripting (preferred)
