Mr. Mahtani joined Baring Asia in 2006 to help set up the India business. He is currently responsible for BPEA’s investments in India in addition to being a member of the Portfolio Management Committee and Co-Head of the Technology Services team.
Mr. Mahtani currently serves on the board of several portfolio companies including Hexaware, CMS, Citius and AGS Healthcare. He was previously with General Atlantic in Mumbai whose India office he founded. Prior to this he worked for Bear Stearns and Merrill Lynch in the US.
Mr. Mahtani graduated with honors from Georgetown University with a triple major in Finance, International Business and Marketing.

Mr. Hari Gopalakrishnan is the Managing Director and Co-Head of the Technology Services team at Baring Private Equity Asia. Hari joined Baring in 2007 and is a founding member of the India business based in Mumbai.
Hari has been involved with multiple technology services portfolio companies including Hexaware, Citius, AGS Healthcare and Coforge.
Mr. Gopalakrishnan is an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and has an undergraduate degree from the University of Kerala.

Mr. Prakul Kaushiva is a Managing Director in the Private Equity Asia team of Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments), and leads CPP Investments’ direct private equity efforts in India.
Prakul joined CPP Investments in 2012 in London and moved to Hong Kong in 2015. Prior to CPP Investments, he worked at Goldman Sachs in the Technology, Media and Telecom M&A group and subsequently in the Securities Division. Prakul has also worked at General Electric in the US and India.
Prakul holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, with a focus on General Management and Finance.

Arjun is a seasoned business leader with a distinguished 35-year career, including serving on Accenture’s Global Management Committee, reporting to the CEO and played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction. As Chair of Accenture’s Strategic Clients Portfolio—over 300 clients that drive a significant portion of Accenture’s global revenues—he led transformative growth, nearly doubling both the client base and revenues over six years. Throughout his tenure, Arjun held multiple senior leadership positions, spearheading and scaling high-growth business segments. He is recognized for architecting and executing large-scale, tech-enabled transformations for some of Accenture’s most significant clients.
Currently, Arjun serves as a strategic advisor to CEOs and sits on several commercial boards. He is also deeply committed to social impact, with a passion for advancing inclusion and diversity, promoting health equity, and creating opportunities for disadvantaged children. In addition to his commercial board roles, Arjun serves on the board of HealthRight, an innovative NGO dedicated to expanding global health equity.

Mr. Richard Clark serves as an independent director and Chairperson of the audit and sustainability committees at Virtusa. He also serves on the boards of Perficient and MITRE Corporation.
Richard’s background includes more than 40 years of experience leading digital transformation, finance, accounting, and investor relations for Accenture PLC, a top-tier public consulting, technology, and services firm operating in 49+ countries. Most recently, he served as Accenture’s chief transformation officer, directing the firm’s global change initiatives that enabled faster and better decision making while delivering more than $1B in annual cost savings.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Richard holds a Master of Science in Accounting from the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from Stonehill College.
