Position Overview:

As a Strategic Alliance Leader, you will work with our partner in the cloud space with a focus across multiple industries and technology to further our value add in the marketplace. You will lead business development efforts to identify, assess and lead the implementation of partnership opportunities that contribute to increasing market share and brand value.

Sales focus

    • Source deals from partners by leveraging Virtusa differentiation in specific areas (Offerings, Domain, Delivery Excellence, relationships etc.)
    • Collaborate with Virtusa/Partner Sales and Technical teams to develop and drive joint go-to-market initiatives
    • Elevate Virtusa to be a preferred Partner for chosen GTM programs

Business Planning and Collaboration

    • Build a business development plan for target segments in the Partner Organization
    • Build a thorough understanding of and clearly articulate relevant industry trends and buying behaviors along with Virtusa’s offerings, capabilities, services, IP and partner models
    • Engage the Partner Sales Organization, alliances, channels and other functions to source deals
    • Review all relevant deals on a weekly basis and collaborate with Virtusa/Partner teams to drive deal sourcing and capture

Operational Aspects

    • Work with Virtusa opportunity owners to get the deals tagged in Virtusa Sales Mgmt system and receive appropriate credit
    • Progress deals through the pipeline process in the Partner Portal
