Code Green, our environmental management system, encompasses measures to manage the significant environmental aspects of our business operations, which include emissions, energy and water usage, and disposal of waste material. Since the inception of Code Green in 2009, we have improved our environmental performance consistently and achieved ambitious reductions in emissions, energy usage and water usage.

As part of our Campus Reach program, we partner with engineering colleges, universities and academic institutions across many initiatives to improve collaboration between academia and industry. Campus Reach activities include the support on curriculum development and adding to the teaching capacity, knowledge sharing sessions, the Industrial Internship Program, mentoring and career guidance, and the Virtusa Academic Excellence Awards.

Through Digital Reach, we aim to create a digitally inclusive society by IT-enabling communities. We helped set up a Digital Learning Center (DLC) for war rehabilitees in Sri Lanka, and also set up over 70 IT labs in rural schools.
