Responsibilities: Facilitation of Agile Release Trains (ARTs):
Lead and facilitate the ART ceremonies and processes, including PI Planning, System Demos, Inspect and Adapt workshops, and Scrum of Scrums.
Ensure alignment, synchronization, and integration across multiple Agile teams and stakeholders.
Coordination and Communication:
Serve as a liaison between Product Management, Development, and other stakeholders.
Foster collaboration, manage dependencies, and facilitate resolution of conflicts.
Support PI Planning and Execution:
Guide the teams and stakeholders in understanding priorities, roadmaps, and timelines during PI Planning.
Monitor and track progress, facilitate decision-making, and help remove impediments during PI execution.
Continuous Improvement:
Coach teams, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile practices and SAFe principles.
Drive continuous improvement through the Inspect and Adapt process, retrospectives, and other feedback mechanisms.
Metrics and Reporting:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of ARTs and Agile teams.
Provide regular updates, progress reports, and transparency across the organization.
Risk Management:
Identify risks, dependencies, and impediments that affect the ART and facilitate appropriate resolution.
Proactively manage and mitigate risks to ensure successful delivery.
Required Skills: Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer or similar role in Agile software development, preferably within a SAFe environment.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and scaling Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS).
Excellent facilitation, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to influence and lead teams towards continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
Certified SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or equivalent certifications are preferred.
