Description
Deep understanding of observability concepts, including metrics, logging, tracing, and application performance monitoring (APM).
Hands-on experience with 1-2 observability tools like AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk.
Define and implement the observability strategy and roadmap for clients, aligned with the business objectives and the IT architecture vision.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Collaborate with the IT stakeholders, such as application owners, developers, operations, security, and governance teams, to understand their observability needs and requirements, and provide them with the appropriate solutions and tools.
Evaluate and recommend new and emerging observability technologies and tools, and conduct proof of concepts and pilots to assess their feasibility and value.
Establish and enforce observability standards, policies, and best practices across the enterprise, and ensure compliance with the regulatory and security requirements.
Collaborate with clients to analyze the observability metrics and KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
Understanding of the Business Functions within Financial Services
Good expertise and firsthand experience in observability and monitoring technologies and tools, such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, Elastic, etc.
Knowledge and experience in cloud-based architecture, especially AWS, Azure, or GCP. AWS Solutions Architect certification or Azure Solutions Architect certification would be a definite plus.
Experience in designing and implementing observability solutions for complex, distributed, and microservices-based systems and applications.
Experience in working with DevOps, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
