Job description
  • Technology lead who can lead cloud data platforms and analytics solutions end-to-end.
  • 15+ years of IT experience with 8+ years of hands-on expertise in cloud data platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Snowflake AND Big Data platforms (Hadoop, Cloudera).
  • Lead data platform migration, modernization, and governance initiatives, architecting modern platforms that support high-throughput event data collection and real-time analytics.
  • Define and execute the roadmap for cloud data solutions across industries, covering data platforms, data engineering, data governance and data consumption (migrations from legacy platforms, greenfield).
  • Engage with business stakeholders, client partners, technical salespeople, delivery leads, and customer leadership teams to drive cloud data transformation initiatives.
  • Own new order booking targets for cloud-based data solutions and offerings across industries.
  • Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to develop scalable, cost-effective data solutions, ensuring seamless integration for pursuits and RFPs.
  • Leverage services across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake) for data platform modernization, migration, engineering, and governance.
  • Develop and align the data solution offerings roadmap with market demands and customer needs.
  • Ensure data quality, master data management, and governance frameworks are effectively implemented across data platforms.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor in executive-level discussions, particularly with Chief Data Officers (CDOs), aligning cloud data strategies with business objectives and driving impactful data strategy conversations.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platform services, data platform migration and modernization, data engineering, BI, and data architecture modernization.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage the solution development lifecycle, and work in a client-facing capacity.
  • Experience in driving data strategy discussions at the executive level, particularly with CDOs, and creating horizontal data solutions applicable across various industries.
  • Expertise in database modeling, data visualization tools, polyglot development, and real-time event data collection and processing.
  • Good understanding of data governance, data quality management, and master data management tools and practices.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving order booking targets and closing deals related to data solutions for clients across industries.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Airflow, DBT, and other cloud-native data services.
  • Familiarity with DataOps practices to streamline data pipeline development and deployment.
  • Demonstrated partnerships with partner ecosystems across data platforms / Hyperscalers.
